You already knew it was coming, but here it is anyway. Excuse the shaky cam action, but it was loud and red, and I scare easy.

Cliffy B rounded out this year's Microsoft keynote -- chainsaws-a-blazing -- at the 2008 Game Developers Conference with the announcement we all expected: Gears of War 2. He says to expect something "bigger and far more badass."

We didn't get to see much in the way of what GOW 2 will look like, but if the any of the new features and additions of the Unreal Engine are incorporated into the title, at least we'll know that it looks pretty. 

We'll see it all in November!

Well sure it was coming but its gonna make one hell of an xmas present. Live will surely be in meltdown.

Hopefully we'll see a demo before November, I'd say probably by E3 time.

Nice one Cliffy and Epic. Lets hope MS can keep their mitts off buying Epic too.

Almost time to get messy again.
