GDC 08: Gears of War 2 announced

You already knew it was coming, but here it is anyway. Excuse the shaky cam action, but it was loud and red, and I scare easy.

Cliffy B rounded out this year's Microsoft keynote -- chainsaws-a-blazing -- at the 2008 Game Developers Conference with the announcement we all expected: Gears of War 2. He says to expect something "bigger and far more badass."

We didn't get to see much in the way of what GOW 2 will look like, but if the any of the new features and additions of the Unreal Engine are incorporated into the title, at least we'll know that it looks pretty. 

We'll see it all in November!
