I'm officially running out of things to say about all these Gamescom screenshots. Let's do our best, because up next is Gearbox's incredibly exciting Borderlands. The totally-not-cel-shaded roleplaying shooter is at the top of my "DO WANT" list right now, and these gorgeous new shots do little to quell my desire.
Borderlands will be storming America on October 20, and I've certainly got the date marked on my calender. This will be the official start of the pre-holiday AAA season (what's left of it, after all the delays) and I do not think that building my hopes up to ridiculous levels won't do any harm. No harm at all.

God gearbox just go back to the old art style.
Except she looks amazing.
And has robots and giant purple crab monsters.
And Zeta Crossfire is the one person in existence who feels the way he does.
Still... sometimes screenshots don't do justice...
I guess the only question left about Borderlands is if it has real-time weapon change, amirite? I'm pretty sure they've got RIIIIIIIIIDGE RAAAACCCCCEEEERR in there somewhere already.
