GC 09: PlayStation Home gets a SingStar space and more photo

In Sony's press conference at Gamescom today, they announced that PlayStation Home will be updated with some new features. One of them will be a space that's dedicated solely to the popular SingStar franchise. Perhaps now you can play the game in a real time space with a group of friends?

Sony also announced that Home users can look forward to new dance moves, the ability to further customize your characters and a camera you can take with you everywhere. This could be neat if I had used Home at all since the service launched, which I haven't. I guess virtual reality spaces aren't my thing. Still, SingStar in Home could be cool. We'll keep you updated with more details on this as they become available. Do want?

Singstar is lacking the ability to play online with others... which has the potential to be a lot of fun (especially if booze is involved!). I'm ok with using Home if this allows people to play and sing with friends.

Cause torture should be shared!
