GC 09: Nanosuit 2 is looking hot in Crysis 2 photo

It’s been awhile since we’ve heard anything on Crysis 2. The news on the game has been slow, but what we have seen so far is pretty enticing. A couple of new videos from GamesCom 09 have popped up and while I’m glad to see some new stuff on the game, the trailers really aren’t that informative.

Yeah, the Nanosuit 2 is pretty badass. In fact, I think they’re the best videogame armor around. Let’s see some action though, Crytek! Bring on the “pew pew pew” and the choke slams!

You can check out the two new teasers after the break and both videos feature a rather beautiful musical score. Straight out of Final Fantasy style music.

Maybe it's because it's like, 5AM or something right now, but I misread that Crynet as logo as "Skynet Systems", actually thought the video was real for some stupid reason, and wound up spitting Sprite all over my laptop monitor and hid under a blanket with my cat. I -REALLY- need to stop staying up so late.

I will only buy Crysis 2 if theytake out the aliens bullshit, it made the first game unplayable!

@Naim, it'd be a testament to crytek's storywriting abilities if the next game had no aliens in it at all.

Well, this vid looks neat. I hope it's not just a model swap, the nanosuit in the first two had a few rubbish features, like the run mode taking up so much energy you couldn't run up to somebody and smash them in the face if they were more than like, 5 meters away.

Why does Crytek feel the need to use the word "Cry" in EVERYTHING.

FarCry, Crysis, Cry Engine 1,2, Crynet systems....

OK GUYS. WE GET IT.

But I sort of agree. In the names of the game, that's there thing, but "Crynet systems" was embarrassing :|

LOL, CryNet was created long ago. It's the system that runs multiplayer in the game.(s)

I understand why they do it, I just find it annoying and cheesy.

You don't see Epic, Bungie, or iD throwing their name in EVERYTHING they create.

I don't know why, but that trailer sent a chill down my spine the first time I saw it.
