Fans of PlayStation 3 exclusive Heavenly Sword take note -- Namco Bandai has announced today that its partnered with Ninja Theory Ltd. to publish the UK-based developers next title.
Unlike Heavenly Sword, the mysterious "original new IP" won't be a PS3 exclusive; the title is set to be released in 2010 for both Xbox 360 and PS3.
"This new project pushes our core strenghs of rich story-telling, cutting-edge technology and exciting gameplay beyond anything we have created before," says Ninja Theory's Nina Kristensen.
Sounds exciting. Now about that
Heavenly Sword sequel... should we just give up hope now?

No.. it's a good game with some incredible motion capture and voice work.
It's framey as hell though and combat didn't feel tactile enough.
back on topic...it'll be nice to see if these guys can make a game that actually lasts long enough to rationalize paying 60 bones for.
