I think I'll pass then on the 3DS - it was sounding so good. Of course this is speculative, but still.
As it is, I'll wait until there's either a few brilliant games, or the inevitable 3DS Lite with 8-10 hours of battery life, thank you very much.
You are safe for now, wallet.
And do we think 3/15 launch date is correct, or are they just placing a date mid-March because Nintendo said it would release sometime in March?
No more than £200 for the console (and that's me being generous) and £30 for games. Like many here, I have issues with the current costs of new games as they are. I think the RRP is more of a premium for people who aren't willing to wait a few months for the inevitable price drop, but dammit, I want a 3DS now!
It's like Nintendo spoketh themselves, christ.
also, @zantetsuken £50 and $50 dollars are COMPLETELY different. £50 = $78.
so if I could pre-order a 3DS game for just 50$ I would dance screaming and naked on the roof!
on a related note, why do publishers always try to get a couple bucks more for their titles? don't they realize that the higher price points keep potential paying customer from buying new? more than $35 is too much for any handheld title, period.
Yeah, I'm just about done with video games after 27 years. It's been heading in the wrong direction since all that 3d shit took over in the mid-nineties, and it just keeps getting worse, so it's time for me to find something else to spend my time and money on. I think instead of a 3ds, I'm going to buy a guitar instead.
