GameStop lists dates for Metal Gear RISING and more photo

GameStop's updated release list has given launch dates for Metal Gear Solid: RISING, Aliens: Colonial Marines, BioShock Infinite and more. While the retailer's dates are never confirmed, it's often correct, so they're worth checking out for a rough idea.

Some of the notable dates include:

  • Aliens: Colonial Marines - 11/12/11
  • Prey 2 - 2/1/12.
  • Bioshock Infinite - 2/2/12
  • Metal Gear RISING - 11/2/12.
  • Tomb Raider - 12/13/11

Some of them are more clearly placeholders, such as Final Fantasy XIII-2 being given a New Years Day 2012 release date. In any case, GameStop expects to see these games around this time, so check 'em out.

It looks like 2K has some more BioShock up its sleeve

Many made the reasonable prediction that with the closing of Irrational Games earlier this year, we'd probably seen the last of the BioShock franchise, at least for a bit. That line of thought may prove to have been a bi...more

It's never been all about the graphics for me. I can appreciate slick environments and the ability to watch sweat roll down my rugged protagonist's brow. But truth be told, I've always had a thing for PlayStation-era graphics...more
