[Update: The games you can expect at launch include Tomb Raider, Jet Motto, Final Fantasy VII, Wild Arms, Twisted Metal 2, Cool Boarders 2, Arc the Lad, Resident Evil Director's Cut, and Crash Bandicoot.

We knew it was coming soon, but now we have an official release date: Expect PS One Classics support on the PlayStation Vita to arrive on August 28. Rejoice!
