Looking forward to the Deadpool charm. Confident that Daniel Way can give us a good story (cue up The Police's So lonely) but in my Jesus Freak heart, I wish Dave Lapham was writing this. It would be insane.
All I needed was for them to treat the character right. I couldn't give 2 shits if the game ends up being mediocre, I will buy it for that certain Deadpool charm that you can't get anywhere else.
"He'll narrate tutorial prompts, make fun of boss introductions, and even turn around to the screen to make fun of players for doing badly."
Good, this is all stuff DP needs to be doing in this game. I just hope the game doesn't bog it down with it too much.. Specially making fun of you for doing bad... I just get flashbacks at how annoying (I know, I know.. DP NEEDS annoying) he was in the Ultimate Alliance games.
"Deadpool is killing everyone in style, but it just didn't give off that certain sense of strength that I think it's lacking."
For as much I as love War for Cybertron and the demo for Fall of Cybertron, this is actually one thing I can say High Moon seems to have some trouble with, cause I dare say they have this issue while trying to give strength to several tons of sentient metal killing each other.
I'm not worried either, High Moon's got my praise in spades, but yeah.. I can see the game being a blast, even without with this flaw in place.
"The mission begins with Deadpool entering the sewers and inflating a giant bounce house. It's not explained at all why, and Deadpool quickly moves on after jumping on the bounce house a few times for pleasure. Um, okay?"
Because: Deadpool.

I have a terrible feeling a lot of the reviewers will completely miss the point and not get Deadpool at all when this is released.
I'm hyped for it though. I'll be dropping my preorder as soon as a release date is announced!

Actually, no. That was just in the Deadpool: Wade Wilson's War miniseries which is an alternate reality, and I think the Deadpool MAX series too, which is also an alternate reality. In regular Marvel continuity, he IS a comic book character who's kinda sorta aware he's in a comic.
