Games on Demand: Smackdown '08 and '09, LOTR: Conquest

The Games on Demand selection grows even more this week with some Smackdown action for your Xbox 360.

Both SmackDown vs RAW 2008 and SmackDown vs RAW 2009 join the full-game downloadable line-up, though I'm not quite sure why someone would want the 2008 version. I mean, wouldn't everyone want the more current one? I guess if you were looking to get something under $20, then the '08 version would fit the bill ($19.99, 6GB download). SmackDown vs. RAW 2009 is a bit more at $29.99 (7GB download). Our review says that we enjoyed the latter, so buy with confidence.

If you're not one for the wrasslin', know that Pandemic's Lord of the Rings: Conquest is also included in this week's offerings. For $19.99 and a 5GB download you'll get this 2009 release that we previewed even earlier. It's looking a bit long on the tooth these days, but it's only $20.
