Mind not that there exists such a thing as a "behind-the-scenes" interview for a commercial. If that has to be a thing, let them all have Conan O'Brien in them.

We played games at Destructoid during the last week and we're itching to tell you all about it. Keep reading and you'll find out what the best console audio visualizer is. The answer may surprise you.

Holmes: I played Goldeneye on the Wii and I didn't hate it. Also played Canabalt, Meat Boy, Cave Story DSiWare, Pokemon White, all the Bit.Trip games, and some other stuff that I liked.

Oh, and Ouendan/Elite Beat Agents fans, watch out for Michael Jackson on the DS. It's a trap.

Ross: I've been playing Majin: The Forsaken Kingdom, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Angry Birds: Seasons (SO GOOD). I also just started playing WoW again, since Cataclysm showed up at my door with a time card...

Concelmo: Almost nothing but The Sly Collection. Love those games so much. BENTLEY! Playing this collection is making me hope for a similar high-def remake of the three Jak games on the PlayStation 3. That announcement may make me lost my mind.

Also a little Prototype for the Xbox 360 -- never got a round to playing it with it was released all those years ago. I like it so far, even though I have trouble controlling sometimes.

Oh, and Golden Sun: Dark Dawn for review! So pretty!

Chester: Been playing some CrimeCraft, which is actually pretty fun for a free-to-play third-person shooter MMO. Also played the PSN game Shatter for the first time, as it's free for PlayStation Plus subscribers; I know I'm late to the party, but this game is pretty incredible. Also played a Cho Aniki game for the first time, thanks to a download code Dale gave me, and I have no idea what the fuck is going on. Oh, and: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time HD and Donkey Kong Country Returns with the wife.

Also dabbled in Test Drive Unlimited 2 and Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 -- previews of both coming this week!

Concelmo: OMG SHATTER! That's one of my favorite games EVER!

Sarkar: I didn't play any games this week, but I did turn on my Xbox 360 last night in order to plug in my iPod and listen to A Charlie Brown Christmas by the Vince Guaraldi Trio, the greatest holiday album of all time. That's when I discovered one more (admittedly minor) thing that the PS3 has over the 360: pretty much all of the 360's music visualizers are low-res garbage that looks like it was put together by some stoned college students.

Chester: Considering only stoned college kids are probably staring at a visualizer while their music plays, I don't see the problem.

Bennett, H.: I've been playing travel to 'Scotland with your Boyfriend to help him move all his stuff, get snowed in, spend 9 hours driving what should take 20 minutes, go 26 hours without food or drink and then spend the night on the floor of a community centre with 670 other people - 11/10. Basically me and my boyfriend got a glimpse of life when the zombie apocalypse happens, let me tell you that it is pretty bleak. However in other news I did start playing Venetica and now I'm sat here watching the boyfriend play Break Down on the Xbox while I write the Destructoid.com Christmas Gift Guide.

Holmes: I'm glad you survived, Ms. Bennett!

Also, the Sega Saturn had the best visualizer of all time:

Long: I've been playing all the games I bought on Steam last week. Super Meat Boy, Bit.Trip BEAT, then some filler stuff that came in the Indie Puzzle Pack - Cogs and Puzzle Dimension. Super Meat Boy is super hard on Steam, I don't recommend it.

On the Wii, I've been trying to work my way through the Bit.Trip games. Tried out Core, Runner, and Void. Beat is still my favorite by far.

Bennett, C.: So into Pac-Man Championship Edition DX. GHOST TRAIN!

Also, still loving Zuma Blitz, and played a bit of CityVille (but I have no idea why).

Devore: Now that I have a new computer, I can finally play Minecraft in full-screen mode. I played other stuff, but everything pales in comparison to that. Clearly.

Razak: I started and beat Limbo, which I am now totally in love with. Absolutely amazing puzzle pieces in it. Going to jump into Enslaved tonight. Hoping that goes good as well.

Sterling: December is a slow month for a reviews editor so I am replaying some old games, chiefly Lost Odyssey and Killzone 2. Still damn good fun.

I also bought Postal 2 from GOG. I can't say it was my greatest purchasing decision.

Bennett, C.: Replaying Lost Odyssey sounds grand. I might do that myself.

Sterling: You won't regret it. Jansen is still a fucking pimp.

The Saboteur:

-Janky as all FUCK. I dont see how its fun to try and "destroy every outpost so it can make your life easier". Why put so many places where dudes can shoot you? Also, the climbing is good awful. I try to avoid climbing at all times. Ugh.

-Cool characters. Especially the main character. Love the variety of ethnicity too.

GT5!!... Not really... I haven't been able to play video-games this week. Maybe a bit of Nazi zombies on Kino Der Toten, and getting some gold trophies for the licenses in GT5, but that's it.

Bought and completed 999. Let's just say that it's probably THE BEST DS GAME EVER CREATED! Also played some black ops with friends, some Dead rising 2, little bits of halo: reach, and started playing bfbc2 in anticipation for the virtnam pack. Game's still fun as hell, especially the new maps. Take that IW! 4 nee maps with 2 from the old gamr for exactly ZERO banana dollars. THIS is value!

Playing Megaman Battle Network right now in my warm blankets and heater on. I don't hate it, but it's definitely the weakest of the Megaman games. Also playing more Kirby's Epic Yarn, since I can't really buy anything new right now, like DKC Returns.

I've been playing the unpacking game and the getting ready for finals game. I only just got out the consoles so my game playing has been nothing but Angry Birds and DLC quests from Dragon Quest IX.

I played through some Steam games from the Thanksgiving sale. I beat VVVVVV (think I mentioned that last time) and Defense Grid: The Awakening. I also starting playing through World of Goo which is fun despite not being my kind of game. Most of the other games included in these packs are forgettable.

I also got my save game for Plants Vs. Zombies working on my new computer which was a relief given I've done so much and I thought I lost it. My old computer died shortly before the GOTY update.

Today I had a day off and I've been playing through Resistance 2. Still enjoying this one a lot. The single player is solid but not very challenging outside a few great set piece battles. Will move on to Mario Kart Wii and those mirror tracks a bit later.

Oh and still waiting for a New Vegas patch and DKCR in the mail.

I know I'm late as fuck to the party, (read: over a year) but I finally just sat down and finished Dragon Age: Origins on the PC. Damn that game is still glitchy and laggy and buggy to all hell, but I still loved it.

Played some GT5 and Dead Rising 2, then switched to Bit.Trip Runner and Contra ReBirth, that game is the Cock, they both are in fact. Since I just got a Wii, played Super Mario Galaxy for the first time, had a life changing experience. Also No More Heroes 2 and House of the Dead 3. And Smooth Moves. Also some Boom Blox with my fiancee. And New Super Mario Bros.

When is Super Meat Boy coming out on the Wii? I can't wait, I'll play meat boy on a daily basis.

@ KirbyMcDope- Wow man, that sounds incredible.

And don't forget Gradius ReBirth and Castlevania ReBirth. Both of them are often overlooked, but they're definitely on the same level as Contra ReBirth.

Bit.Trip FATE is pretty rad as well. And Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom. And Sin and Punsihment 2. And Little King's Story.

And oh fuck I feel a Wii list coming on I better put a cork in it.

How do you guys go about writing up your "Games of the Week"? I would assume everybody just turns in a list, but the random replies and comments from the rest of the staff confuse me. Just curious(and easily confused,i guess). Or is the method a secret?

Pss...I can totally keep secrets;)

Also, I've mainly been playing Pac-Man since I read about how the ghost work.

I seriously tought about plugging the old sega saturn this weekend, but I didn't because of lazyness and also the fact I'm a bit scared of how the games will look on my HDTV only using the composite cable (my tv doesn't have a s-video output). But I feel the need to play D again.

@Holmes: "I played Goldeneye on the Wii and I didn't hate it"

Whoa, from you Holmes that makes it a MUST for me, also still (barely) holding for any news on Super Meat Boy Wii to decide which version to get (though Super Tofu Boy and Mr Minecraft almost made me buy the Steam one).

@Azzurus: you think you're late? i just started God of War, loving it so far, also Castlevania Portrait of Ruin, another great Metroidvania, though i've kinda grown addicted to Charlotte's boob jiggle move for some reason.

I played my Channukah present...Sakura Wars. I'm really disappointed this game didn't do well as it is a lot of fun.

I also started Fallout 3 and the intro is amazing. I'm not sure if I'm impressed with everything once I leave the vault though. I will have to play more to see.

Also, the original Batman for the ZX Spectrum, GBA and PC after the article.

Playing but taking a break from Red Dead Redemption and started Fallout New Vegas which has soooo many bugs but yet doesn't stop me from playing. After I beat these two I don't know what I'll start. Maybe some Lost Odyssey too. - Xbox 360

PS3 - I was planning on starting Condemned 2 on it. Loved the first but never got to the second one and now I own that too.

PC - Playing Silent Hill 2 as I didn't get into Silent Hill until 4 came out so I played through the first and now 2 is up.

DS/GBA - Super Scribblenauts,999, and gonna start on the first Golden Sun which I LOVED but never got to the second so yea.

PSP - Still playing Birth By Sleep but it's hard to be interested in the other two charaters stories after you be Vens'.
