Destructoid is gaming news, community, videos, and sometimes love. Take the tour or jump in with Facebook:

The above video is not recommended to people offended by swearing, slurs against minorities, and awful representations of childhood heroes.

In other news, it's time for games of the week! What have the Destructoid editors been playing since last we all convened? What have YOU been playing? Let's share together! Hit l'jump for more.

Hamza: I played a bunch of Atari games with the only ones I can talk about being The Chase, Sacred 2 and My Horse and Me. I sat through 40 minutes of My Horse and Me and I still have no idea why I did it.

At least I ended the week by playing the new Prince of Persia!

Topher: Baltimore NARP. I played everything.

DMV: Valkyria Chronicles is the only thing I've gotten to play in between watching Korean films and writing about them. I can't wait until the semester is over, just so I can take a break from writing and play some games.

Nick: Prince of Persia on the PlayStation 3; Prince of Persia: Fallen King on the DS; Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe on both PS3 and 360; Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 on the Nintendo DS; and some other games that are played on consoles.

Jim: I am slowly getting used to Fallout 3. Starting to look forward to playing it during the day, even though I'm still not utterly enthralled. I also played through Gears 2 again with my brother, and completed Call of Duty: World at War for review. Two of these games I will play in the future. One I will not. Guess which is which.

Colette: It's been a whole lot of Fallout 3 for me this past week and not much else, although I did enjoy the hell out of that Left4Dead demo a few days back.

Chad: I officially decided: I will hard pressed to find a better game than World of Goo this year. That game is so freakin' amazing I don't even have the words to describe it. But, then again, I haven't played Fallout 3 yet. Or Resistance 2. Or Left 4 Dead. Or Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. Goddammit, I am so behind!

Also, just starting Dead Space as a type this ...

Conrad: I'm still completely sucked into Fallout 3. I did manage to break away for short doses of Geometry Wars 2 and Rock Band 2.

Fallout 3 will never end if you dont use quick travel, people! But it does enhance the difficulty alot, so it has made it very enjoyable.

Other than Fallout 3...

Deus Ex on PC
Left 4 Dead demo
The spoons
The sack

@John Solgrim: I use fast travel all the time and I've still managed to log over 100 hours, only progressing halfway through the main quest.

All Mirror's Edge, all the time. It's not quite as good as I hoped, but it's still pretty good. I'm afraid I'll never be able to do the individual chapter speedruns. Aside from the first three, which are easy and short.

But who wants to have to complete a 10 minute long run without any mistakes whatsoever? Break it up into chunks or something, guys!

@Alexradl

Since I own things other than games it takes me a while to get to the games I'm not immediately interested in. I may be 8 months late...but I felt I was right on time when I played it.

I've been playing Mother 3. It's crazy that this game is actually good enough to live up to my own personal excitement and anticipation. It's got such an awesome combination of cute character design and loopy dialogue, but laced with an enormous undercurrent of cruelty and tragedy. It fits my personality perfectly. Mato qualifies as a saint in the story of my life.

RRoD for me last week.

Fallout 3 seemed to cause it, everyone's a critic!

The Left 4 Dead demo on Steam, which disappointed me.

Mostly because I won't be able to run its sheer awesomeness on my laptop... :(

It's been a lot of Left 4 Dead Demo and Fallout 3 for me lately, sprinkled with bits of Forza 2 in between. That will all change on Tuesday when it'll be strictly Left 4 Dead. Also, Solitaire.

In spirit I've been playing Gears 2 with you all, though

Finished Gears 2, Psychonauts and Beyond Good & Evil. Got the damn glitch on Fable 2. Put it on hold till a patch comes or if I ever want to restart it. Just started with Valkyria Chronicles and I'm playing LBP bit by bit whenever my niece visits. My niece loves LBP and apparently I now owe her a Sackboy plushie for Christmas.

I played a lot more Fable 2 in lieu of being able to hit the B-More NARP.

I think I'm the only one still in Albion.

The past week has been all about LBP for me, I finally stopped experimenting with all the tools, and attempted to publish a level. It's a tribute to the ZX Spectrum game which led directly to me buying LBP 24 years later: Manic Miner by the legendary Matthew Smith. So, if you're an old duffer like me and remember the glorious Speccy era, check out the level called Spectrum Classics: Manic Miner, by Prop_Joe, and let me know what you think!

/shameless plug ends.

swiftly: Sweet! I will treasure this day for the rest of my life! I actually get a surprising number of messages from random people on PSN saying stuff like "da Wire is da bomb yo!!" - which is nice.....

btw, if you like Speccy stuff - some guy has done the whole of Jet Set Willy as an LBP level (search for Jet Set Sackboy). In my humble opinion, this guy is a genius!
