Gameboi (Vader fanboy): For the first time in 52 days, I fired up the old Xbox 360 for some time with Lost Odyssey. I'm not much of an RPG guy, but the game is fantastic, and I wish I had bought it much sooner. I also fooled around with Fable for a little, but it was Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock that took up most of my time. I know most of you hate it, but I had a freaking blast with the game. It's been quite a while (Bioshock, to be exact) since a game had me hooked soooooo bad that I couldn't put it down until I reached the end.
Colette (Chocobo fangirl): Not too much gaming time this week since my mom was in town to visit, but I did show her Grand Theft Auto IV and BioShock. Playing the latter made me want to replay the game all over again, but I'm forcing myself to wait until the PS3 version comes out, dammitt.
Nick (Correct spelling of words fanboy): I haven't spent much time playing games for "pleasure" this week, and everything I did play I can't talk about until Tuesday. I did play a bit of Wall-E on the Xbox 360 yesterday; throwing cubes of trash FTW.
Jim (Monocle fanboy): Actually been indulging my rarely seen retro side this week, with some Sonic sessions, as well as enjoying the delights of Shinobi III, Kid Chameleon and Decap Attack, the latter game being one of the underrated classics of platforming. You rarely hear about it, but it was so good. Shame.
On the modern side of thinks, I've been stomping through Dark Sector, a game which justifies ripping other games off, as you spend the whole experience thinking "God, if they were gonna steal from Gears, why didn't they take its working cover system and decent controls as well?" Also, GRiD.
Johnathan (Xbox 360 & PS3 fanboy): Still playing Dr Mario Online RX, Wii Fit for a pending review, and Apollo Justice for about ten minutes a night before I fall asleep.
Also downloaded Splatterhouse for the VC (Thanks Cowzilla). I'll never underestimate the power of nostalgia again. When this game first came out, I liked it. Now I friggin' love it. The music is so perfect, somehow equal parts spooky and goofy, just like everything else in the game. But the real kicker is the boss at the end of level five. I don't think there has been anything quite like that in gaming since.
Chad (Nudity fanboy): Wow. I played a lot of freakin' games this week ... and they were all AMAZING! Super Mario Bros. 3, StarTropics, Ninja Gaiden III: The Dark Sword of Chaos, and River City Ransom made this the perfect start to my summer of retro! I appreciated, yet again, the greatness that is Rosalina in Mario Kart Wii. And, finally, I started one of the best games to ever come out for the Wii: Boom Blox. Seriously, if you own a Wii you have to buy this game. IT IS INCREDIBLE!
Hamza (Drunk-posting on the Internet fanboy): omg im. alreasd drunk abd its onlyu 2 in afterniin. hahahahaha
Johnathan: Is this really happening again? Is Hamza really this hilarious?
Either way, good show!
Chad: Hurry, Hamza, fuck somebody's accent. HURRY! :)
Grim (Beating people at games fanboy): I usually do most of my gaming during the weekend, but I was off attending the Cincinnati NARP. While there, we played the most epic game of Rock Band I've ever witnessed. A group of Dtoiders also went to a retro game store and even though I wanted to spend all of my money on games instead of food, I left the store with just Mega Man 7 in hand. I've only had time to play the game for about 15 minutes, but I'm loving it so far.

I've only played two Metal Gear games - the one for the GBC, and the PC version of MGS (and the GC remake).
I've never owned a Sony console, but I'm still a big fan of the series nonetheless...
In fact, I'm such a big fan, that I've decided to pre-order a PS3 with MGS4.
But there's a problem: Due to me never owning a PS2, I didnt get a chance to play MGS2 & 3, meaning I have a huge gap in the storyline. And PS3 has its PS2 backwards compability dropped, meaning that I'm screwed there aswell.
I'm gonna borrow my cousins PS2 and play MGS3 Substinence, wich I ordered from the web just now.
But I'm having BIG trouble finding MGS2 on the web.
And I can forget about the Essential Collection, because Konami aint selling that to us Europeans!
My other cousin has an Xbox with Substance stored on its hardrive, but he lives in a different city, and I have no chance on reaching him untill July... I cant wait that long, so what do I do?
I decided to watch a video playthrough of MGS2 on Youtube!
So thats what I'm been doing this week. Not playing a game, but watching videos!
I must say, its quite frustrating to watch, because there are so many moments that I would want to experience myself - on my 32" HDTV, not through some crappy Youtube film.
As I'm typing this I'm waiting for the 22nd and last video to load.
I must say, that I probably shouldnt have watched the rest of the videos right before Im going to bed.
Its kinda fucking up my head a bit. = /
So confusing...
Also some Boom Blox, which is as awesome as Chad said.
Sorry Chad, but the ship called the SS. Not Thinking Chad is a Pervert had sailed with the fingerbanging frigate
Also, played some Gears of War co-op with a friend, mostly for the achievements. I actually like GoW less, the more I play it. Not sure why. It doesn't make me want to play TF2 any less though, that's for sure. I love you, TF2. <3
Also, Penny Arcade Adventures <3
I basically spent my time getting to 100% in Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga. Now I'll probably never play it again.
Beyond that, I actually started playing Prey, since back in March, I only bothered to get the multiplayer achievements for dvddesign's contest. After 9 levels, I can safely say that it seems amazingly average. The portals are nothing more than floating doorways and don't really add anything, and shooting at enemies on the ceiling (or from the ceiling) could be accomplished in exactly the same way by putting them on higher platforms. So essentially, any special qualities boil down to graphical differences.
I suppose I'll still finish it though, I just won't go back and play Cherokee mode when I'm done. I think the point of a hard mode is diminished when there is absolutely no penalty for death and one of your guns replenishes its ammo.
Also bought Warhawk last night. Its good but I did run into one tiny problem (although it was probably my fault): When you join a match in progress and its Team Deathmatch, the first thing you should be told is what team you're on. Other than that I like it. I also bought Cash Guns Chaos from PSN, whic is a nice little Smash T.V. clone. Its alright, not too good but appropriately priced.
I've also been playing some Gears of War online and every time I go into a match I'm reminded of how much I hate the fucking shotgun.
Also, played some more LostWinds, River City Ransom, Double Dragon and some Phourglass.
I also got my sister's fiancee hooked on No More Heroes. He fucking LOVES it!
good song!
And ummm played other things I think. Probably.
Also, I have put down my copy of GTA for at least a week, that game just pisses me off. Gonna get me some Ridge Racers!
It's been mostly GTA this week, got it completed after 50 or so hours.
Also I've gone back to playing older games - given I just seem to have more fun playing the games I used to 5 or even 10 years ago.
I have Beyond Good and Evil for the PC at last, and i have not even touched it.... maybe tonight... DAMN YOU CIVILIZATION IV.
Also since Im a PC gamer Im looking for a good old cracked version of Mass Effect. But still they dont seem to work. I was thinking on buying it online... but I have so much to play.
GRID on the PC fo example, Im having issues like the rest of the world because the game does not recognize my "joypad" (controller).
And I also played on a FNF event. Very cool.
Also, the bliss that is Crysis on maximum settings
