Gamers knew Snoop Dogg changed his name MONTHS ago

10:00 AM on 08.04.2012

The BIGGEST news from this past week was EASILY the announcement from Snoop Dogg declaring that he's now called Snoop Lion. OLD! Us gamers knew about this months ago thanks to his Tekken rap music video. Pull up the rap video to 2:26 to hear Snoop declaring his name change ... and then squawk like a crow.

Okay, this isn't real news at all. I just love that Namco thought it would be a good idea to gloat about this little tidbit via a press release. Yes, seriously. Videogames!

Just so this isn't a total waste of your time, there's a trailer below detailing what the new Fight Lab mode is all about. This video is definitely worth your time, as it's filled with visuals that prove Tekken's Katsuhiro Harada is a deranged genius.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is heading to the Wii U and it's going to have a bunch of extras for the Nintendo fans. You'll be able to get mushroom that make you big or small during fights, plus you can dress up as Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Fox, Zero Suit Samus, Link, Zelda, and possibly more. Nothing weirder than seeing Heihachi in a Mario costume. It's the stuff of nightmares!
I'm what you call and "on again off again" Tekken fan. I religiously played the series for hundreds of hours per iteration all the way up until Tekken 4, then I just kind of...stopped. For years to come, I would dabble i...

Did you know that you'll be able to rock your own jams in Tekken Tag Tournament 2? I didn't either until Katushiro Harada, the Tekken chief producer himself, showed me how it works in an interview at gamescom today. Crazy, ri...
