This one touches me a bit personally, so I felt you all should know. GamerDad is one of the people I got to know through Goozex's forum and community, and even did a little Father's Day interview with him.
Well, according to a post from his wife, GamerDad -- Andrew Bub -- suffered a heart attack.
On Saturday September 1st, Andrew Bub - the GamerDad, and my husband - suffered a heart attack. An anterior wall Myocardial Infarction to be exact. On Sunday the 2nd, he had an additional MI and on Labor Day he endured a Quadruple Bypass operation, which saved his life. He's been in the hospital ever since and dearly misses his children, his website, and all of you - his readers.
More recently, it seems that he needs surgery once again, and has gone under the knife "Friday morning." From all of us here at Destructoid, we send our prayers out for Andrew. He's done a lot to try and provide parents with a unique resource for video games, and we can't let him go.

GamerDad, I never knew you. In fact, I didn't even know there was a GamerDad until I saw this on the front page, but I can tell that you're a cool dude. Here's to a speedy recovery.
Thankfully he's still alive. Hang in there man.
Hope he gets better. I really respect the man's work.
If you're inclined to praying it couldn't hurt.
