Game Informers's digital June issue free until May 30th photo

To give people a taste of what the Digital Edition of Game Informer is all about, the June issue has been made available for free until May 30th. More importantly, it gives you the Assassin's Creed: Revelations (or: AssRevs) cover story.

There is a ton of info about the game, like being able to craft and use different types of bombs, Ezio's new hookblade that helps him in combat and navigation through the city, the city's areas, how taking control of a city segment is more complex than taking out a Borgia tower, and more.

Interestingly enough, there's also a bit that sounds like the game will have Inception-style levels where Desmond traverses his subconscious in order to try and figure out how Ubisoft is going to continue the franchise after 2012.

If you are a fan of the franchise, then go give it a read here! Just remember it's no longer free after the weekend.

Ooh. Free for three days.

At least make the preview two weeks, so people will actually get around to seeing it and telling people about it. Three days gets you exposure like a peek-a-boo game.

I didn't know until recently that game informer was owned by gamestop..I usually have a subscription, its what, like 15 bucks for a year. That's like $ 1.08(ish) an issue. Off topic, but who else enjoyed the red faction armageddeon demo? I liked it, the nano-rebuild thing was a neat idea

I prefer the blend "AssCrRev," as it gives you a distinct visual sense of butt-crack.

Nice of them to give it for free for a time. Bite now, suckers!

Ugh, and I just couldn't get into AssCreed after the second one. I am over that franchise sadly.

the link is pretty ipad friendly, but I don't know why they don't offer the magazine on the ipad (through Zinio or something). I LOVE reading magazines on the ipad and it solves my whole issue with keeping past editions.

I'll have to check this out. GameInformer does a good job with their previews.

They are looking into iPad stuff if there is a market for it, I think. If you really need an iPad or iPhone version, best way to tell them that is to leave them a comment on the source article.
