Dying for some Halo: Reach info? Well then you're going to have to pick up the February issue of Game Informer as they'll be bringing us the first detailed look at the game. The February cover story will have ten pages of exclusive details, screens and art. Game Informer's Web site will also have Halo: Reach news all this month.
The cover artwork above helps continue to fuel the notion that Halo: Reach may have some type of squad system. Spartans in the novels usually always work in a squad and I wouldn't mind getting a Halo game with team elements akin to Star Wars: Republic Commando.
Be sure to head on over to Game Informer's site to check out the full cover of the latest issue showing off the five Spartan team looking to annihilate some Covenant.

Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. He was one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before budget cuts. Hamza works as a previews editor and manages a team in San Francisco. To date he has given away tens of thousands of dollars in prizes to readers. What a dick. Actually, Hamza is as kind as he is hairy.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Really though, it's their last ever Halo game. It's a big part of their company and probably the sole reason why they've been so successful these last few years. You can tell from the updated graphics alone that they aren't taking this title lightly, and hopefully the overall game is that much better for it. I have high hopes for this game, and I hope it can return Halo to the quality it enjoyed when it released for the first time,or hopefully even better. I don't expect "Just another halo" from the creator's last Halo game ever.
If Reach turns out to be as good as it is pumped up to be, Microsoft will be in a hell lot of trouble in following Reach up with their own sequel. They could end up treated just like Treyarch; yeah their games are decent but can't beat the original creators' body of work.
If Halo Reach can build on the innovations made in the last two games then it will be crazy awesome. And god damn will the people laying into anything with 'Halo' written on it STFUAJPG?
Did Republic Commando have co-op? Damn, I've got to find out how much it is on Steam.
Are you serious dude? Please tell me your joking? REPUBLIC COMMANDO???
That has to be one of THE best STAR WARS games EVAR. The AI on your team was amazing and the game play was just fantastic. Not to mention the story ( well actually it could have ended better now that I think about it ) but I think that game doesn't get that much credit as it should have. Hardly anyone liked it I guess. Like a cult movie like Kung Pow.
But Game Informer...you embarrass me. They use to be so good in their days and have good issues....C'mon though "ALL ABOUT HALO" crap? They could've have done better.
I'm not to sure about Halo: Reach. Halo: ODST like any other Halo game was fun for the first 3 weeks after it's release...
