$4 for a fucking Game Gear game? Are you joking me? It's a 22 year old portable gaming system that was technically in between a Master System and a Genesis. And you have the balls to tell me these old ass ROMs are worth $4?

I do admit, as a long time Nintendo Handheld gamer that only played a friends Game Gear a few times.. This idea does make me feel really dirty, even if I welcome it with open arms.
Now we just need good Nintendo games to keep coming to the eShop while good Game Gear games flow out along side them. I seriously hope they don't stall one for the other -those libraries will NEVER get filled if they do.
As for Sonic.. I wish they'd wait for a lull to release that.. A lot of people could just go out and get the collection for the DS for $20 right now.

Seconding El Conrado. I still have my NGPC and a copy of Cardfighters Clash I put at least 80 hours into.

I heard the Game Gear version of the original Sonic was excellent and had unique content. Also, its music is different. Which sounds bad, except it was done by Yuzo Koshiro who did Streets of Rage and Revenge of Shinobi's OSTs. But that's not the one they are porting?

...I'll never really played a Game Gear as a kid, except once or twice at other kid's houses, so I'm definitely interested to know what games were good for the system. I'm looking forward to reading some Game Gear game reviews!
Hell yes, I'm glad to see the beast getting some love. I played the hell out of mine when I was the child. It's kicking around in a drawer, maybe I'll drag it out and celebrate. The plus about all of this? You'll finally be able to play those portable Sonic games without an intense amount of motion blur :D
I've heard the Shinobi on Game Gear is quite excellent. Cant say anything else really since my only experience with Game Gear games are with the ones that were on Sonic Adventure DX.
I still have my game gear, and these games. I will gladly pay $12 for all 3 of these. but really I have to ask, where the fuck are the dreamcast games that will use the touch screen like the vmus, i mean fuck.
