Game Debate to the Death! Ryu VS M. Bison photo

Last week was a battle between large men, little clothing and one too many pairs of arms to make me feel comfortable. At first the votes were dead even, but after the fierce bear-fueled bout of grab ass was over, a winner emerged with a large lead in votes. Here are the results:

  • Goro: 30 votes
  • Zangief: 55 votes - Winner!

This victory clinches the crown for the Street Fighter series, with all the Mortal Kombat characters now eliminated from the competition. Chun-Li will have to put Zangief to the test next week, but for now we get to focus on one of the most well-known good guy bad guy conflicts ever played out in the gaming industry. Ryu versus M. Bison.

It's up to you to decide the winner -- will the picture above represent the outcome of this fight, or will the Dtoid Army decide a different ending? Who is the better fighter, and why? Cast your votes, give us a reason for your decision, get some friends to vote, and check back next week for the winner.

According to a local Street Fighter sage: in REAL LIFE, Ryu remains weaker until he uses the Dark Hadou (which he uses when he's almost defeated).

In the game, it's Ryu all the way.
In the movie, Raul Julia > Jean Claude van Damme.

Ryu. I always picked Ken myself but I understood the value of Ryu. His discipline and training won't allow him to be defeated by the likes of Bison.

Ryu obiviously, M Bison's jump takes way too long, specially in 2 and champions. u can kill him easily but just doing fireballs and uppercuts when he jumps

Well, I remember the first anime movie (the others were crap incarnate), it took Ryu AND Ken to even begin to touch Bison. I repeat... both of them to TOUCH Bison. I'm sure if Bison didn't take off his cape to fight at their own level, they would of been paste in the next minute.

Come on people... TOUCH him took two kickass people. No knocking on Ryu or Ken, but video games always give the chance to see the story with other people (God bless video games! <salutes>) while the anime (I've disowned the VanDam movie from existing) is showing it from the creators point of view in most cases... I think. That's what I wanna believe at least.

But, since there have been 1 billion "Ryu" votes and only like, what, 10 Bison votes? I'm going to be #11...
