I like Raiden for the most part. I don't really like Bison all that much.

But I'm going with Bison, if only because his superman move is covered in blue fire, while Raiden's is not.

Also, Raul Julia's Bison was far superior to Christopher Lambert's Raiden. He didn't fight or even wear the coolie hat for most of the movie. Also, James Remar's Raiden sucked balls.

By the way, has anyone seen MK vs SF 3 yet? Shin Lvl 2 Akuma vs Chameleon. It blows the last two out of the water, even though the last two were awesome themselves.

Raiden is a thunder god. Although Vega is no pussy and his psycho power is pretty serious, I seriously doubt he'd beat a god.

I think you guys are seriously overestimating Raiden's powers. Specifically, his title as Thunder God. Just because he's a god does not make him automatically more powerful than Bison. Even the combined forces of Raiden, Shang Tsung, and Quan Chi failed to stop the Dragon King Onaga. He's powerful, but not all-powerful. Besides, he's not even a boss in MK; he doesn't do much aside from organizing Earth Realm fighters and failing to kill Onaga. Bison was a boss character in multiple SF games and the primary antagonist for many characters.

heres how it boils down for me. All my friends are casual gamers and for that MK>SF.

Also if Bison ever joined a MK tournament then he would be dismembered in seconds. I dont think anyone has even died in a SF game.

All the SF fans I know are stuck up asses who care more about a complex fight system than just sitting down and having a good 2x2 fight.

I wouldn't say that Street Fighter is any more complex than Mortal Kombat when it comes to the fight system, what with all the dial-a-combos, weapons styles, and multiple fighting styles (of the later games) and such to have to remember, not to mention the various fatalities, babalities, friendships, animalities, and so on and so forth. As far as I can recall, Gen was the only character in SF who had more than one fighting style to switch between, though I could be mistaken.

In any case, back to the Bison vs Raiden thing... the actual abilities of the characters or who would win if they fought (it's a toss-up and could go either way, as far as I'm concerned) or their comparative DBZ power levels or whatever, do not matter in the slightest in these things. For instance, I could say that Raiden wins simply because his hat is cooler than Bison's, or I could say that Bison wins because he's got that huge-ass awesome bell in his SF2 stage. It's totally subjective. There's no rhyme or reason to it.

I myself am a god, and Bison kicks my ass.
