Game Debate to the Death! Jill VS Tifa photo

Last week we finished the first round of our best gaming heroine debate brackets by arguing over the women from Final Fantasy VII. Here were the results:

  • Aeris: 31 votes
  • Tifa: 85 votes - Winner!

That leaves Samus, Jade, Jill, and Tifa left in the competition. Since I'm watching Resident Evil: Apocalypse on Ventrilo right now (it's terrrrrible), and since Jill and Tifa both only let their opponenets get 31 votes, that's who will be competing this week to start off round two -- Final Fantasy VII's Tifa versus Resident Evil's Jill.

Which woman deserves to win and why? Weigh the pros and cons, cast your votes, give your reasons, and check back next week for a winner!

first off i`m typing this on my wii. this is only slightly more annoying than using a cell phone. but such is my dedication to the robot. you think i'd do this for 1UP? NO! anyway my votes is for jill “boom boom” valentine. tifa isn't even worthy to polish her lock-pick.

I never played RE2 and I loved FFVII... but Tifa never really did it for me. She was far too obviously sexy, where's the subtlety gone these days? Naturally Jill isn't much better but I'm upset about Aeris's loss so... Jill.

Hmm. This is a hard one. On the one hand, Jill shoots zombies and seemingly has an okay bod (kinda hard to tell with PS1..). Tifa in FFVII is also a bit like that. But Advent Children Tifa? Oh lordy! But she also seems kinda needy. So it's like...do you pick the bad ass chick who's pretty nice? Or the chick with the huge rack that whinges?

I think I'd go with Jill. She could protect me if a zombie outbreak occurs. What's Tifa gonna do, punch them to death? WHACK!
