Bonus: Starcraft, Grim Fandango, Day of the Tentacle, Team Fortress 2, Half Life 2
I'm have to vote against Patapon (again) only for the fact that I can't buy a UMD copy of Patapon 2 without having to import it. I really wanted to vote for it too....
But seriously. Half Life series, L4D, Age Of _____ (whatever you like, mythology or empires), Crisis. I dunno. Luxor: Quest for the afterlife
Howev-- um... Anyway, I will admit a smittence with those two beats.
PON PON pata PON
(pata pata pata pon)
BC: L4D & Plants vs. Zombies.
Patapon was amusing, but I couldn't get into it.
I played it right up until the point where Zack reaches Nibelheim, and was enjoying a nice fangasm over the nostalgia until... Wait! Who's That?
The Villian From Crisis Core who was definitely NOT in Nibelheim?
What's he doing here? Get out of my nostalgia, intruder!
tl;dr patapon wins.
... with the exception of Crisis Core. I actually have fun with that game, and thus I become a breathing contradiction while playing it, hating and loving it at the same time. I'll have to give it to that.
As for PC Games... uh, there's <Valve Games> (Seriously, just start tossing random ones in), Dawn of War II, and you can probably throw some MMOs in there. I am apart from my game collection, so that's all I can say for now.
For PC games - Starcraft, Age Of Empires, Counter Strike: Source.
But for PC games I'd like to see in the debate, Plants vs. Zombies and Left 4 Dead.
Bonus: Half-Life 2 (or pretty much anything by Valve), System Shock 2
Bonus: Arcanum, Planescape Torment, The Ship, Planetside, STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl, STALKER: Clear Sky.
without a doubt, the ending made me about as close to being teary
as few other games have.
Starcraft vs well anything since starcraft will win hands down.(that is my opinion anyways)
