Last week's debate was a duel between a dozen different Super Smash Bros. 64 characters that we've all come to know and despise over the years. Votes were cast in all directions, but a few fierce competitors quickly stood out from the rest. There's room left to argue over whether Samus, Ness, or Link was better, although the overall winner of this week is obvious. Here are the results:

• 1st Place (29 votes): Captain Falcon -- winner!
• 2nd Place (15 votes): Kirby
• 3rd Place tie (10 votes each): Link, Ness

The rest:

• 9 votes: Samus
• 5 votes: Pikachu
• 4 votes: Donkey Kong, Luigi
  
• 3 votes: Jigglypuff, Yoshi
• 2 votes: Fox, Mario

This week is the same as last week, except now we're dealing with over two dozen new mischievous Melee characters to decide between. The thumbnail below contains the cast of all the characters in  Super Smash Bros. Melee, so check it out and cast your votes. Which is the best fighter, and why? Give us a reason for your decision, get some Smash Bros. buddies to give their opinions as well, and check back next week for the winner.
