Last week's debate was a duel between a dozen different Super Smash Bros. 64 characters that we've all come to know and despise over the years. Votes were cast in all directions, but a few fierce competitors quickly stood out from the rest. There's room left to argue over whether Samus, Ness, or Link was better, although the overall winner of this week is obvious. Here are the results:
- 1st Place (29 votes): Captain Falcon -- winner!
- 2nd Place (15 votes): Kirby
- 3rd Place tie (10 votes each): Link, Ness
The rest:
- 9 votes: Samus
- 5 votes: Pikachu
- 4 votes: Donkey Kong, Luigi
- 3 votes: Jigglypuff, Yoshi
- 2 votes: Fox, Mario
This week is the same as last week, except now we're dealing with over two dozen new mischievous Melee characters to decide between. The thumbnail below contains the cast of all the characters in Super Smash Bros. Melee, so check it out and cast your votes. Which is the best fighter, and why? Give us a reason for your decision, get some Smash Bros. buddies to give their opinions as well, and check back next week for the winner. And please make sure you only vote for ONE Melee character, otherwise I can't count your vote.

If it were up to me she would have an alternate blood-sprayed dress. Those dainty white gloves are just asking for some color. Mwahahahaha!!
There is nothing more satisfying than punching Kirby in the face with a smash attack and watching it fly off the screen whilst screaming. Throwing a bomb at the Ice climbers and watching one of them explode whilst the other looks shocked and disturbed, is a close second.
Link is my chatacter of choice, I'm afraid I'm very conservative and boring with my combat characters, it's always the Ryu type chatacters I go for - good all round defensive and offensive abilities - when brawl comes out, I will sit proudly at the top of the online leader board of digital fighting gods. No cheap shots either, I will beat you all with style and inspiration.

I might come off as a Luigi fanboy, but that's only because I am. In SSBM, Luigi was given the ability to pull off two separate one-hit kills. There's the one-in-eight rocket and the exactly-the-right-spot dragon punch. He might seem weak because most people won't take the time to learn the subtleties of his moves, but those that do (such as me) are cursed time and time again by their opponents.

He is still unbelievably fun in this game!
