On the previous game debate we decided that Uwe Boll's worst movie ever was BloodRayne, followed closely by tonight's Shitty Movie Night feature film on ventrilo: House of the Dead.
This week's game debate idea comes from Dtoid reader emo zema's suggestion. It's quite the epic estrogen battle, and it needs to be settled once and for all -- who is the better gaming heroine? Samus Aran in all her robotic glory? Or the legendary busty brunette Lara Croft? Weigh the pros and cons, cast your votes, give a short reasoning, and check back next week for a winner.

Contest:
Samus has plenty of upgradable weapons, though, while Lara has none of that so I think Samus wins.
Also, Croft only had two non-shitty games, whilst Samus hasn't been in a bad game yet.
Plus once SSBB hits, she'll be the object of nerd lust everywhere, moreso than Lara and her polygonal breasts ever were, mark my words.
My votes on Samus.

In the end it's a non-contest, because Samus is what gamers and humans in general respond to, not the porn-star equivalent. Everyone wants to bone a porn star in theory, but when stacked against a real woman they sort of become, how should I put this, freakishly scary.
(If you choose a real doll over a real girl, just die, you are not going to propagate our species and serve no purpose. Stop eating all my damn cheetos.)
Also, metroid has better games.
I was thinking along the same lines, that Lara is just a tease for male gamers. She's a pair of boobs with a sidearm. But Samus all along has just been a straight-up tough girl that kicks ass. That's where her sexiness comes from.
1. More attractive, not even a contest there.
2. Lara has more depth to her and actually seems like a real person. The baby metroid coming to the rescue in Super Metroid evoked more emotion then Samus ever has. Samus is just like Gordon Freeman, she can kick ass but not a whole lot to say.
3. I've hated Samus's control scheme in every game shes been in since she went 3D. Gamecube controller FTL.
4. Samus is a Tranny, she was a dude in her first game and then got a sex change at the end of it.
5. In a straight up fight, no suits, no lasers or guns, Lara would win.
