There are men among us that scoff Nintendo's borrowed Steve Jobism approach to design (or did the country of Japan come first, Apple fans?) and wish painted fairies and bright colors of the hippie people adorned their portable consoles. To them, we pay tribute today. Techeblog is running a feature on the top 5 most creative modifications to the bland pearly shell of the Nintendo DS. The editors favored designs that paid tribute to the days of retro gaming, as the inspirations for most of what you're about to see is either based on home console designs and the Game & Watch (Bonus Stage: check out this guy's sick collection).
