Gabe Newell to be inducted into AIAS Hall of Fame
My man. Gabe. If I could only fistbump you right now. Or at least stroke your sparkly beard. The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences has announced that Gabe Newell, the president of Valve and our savior, will be inducted into the AIAS Hall of Fame at D.I.C.E. 2013. He'll also take the stage at the Summit for the conference's keynote. Epic Games President Dr. Michael Capps, last year's inductee, will hand off the award at the 16th D.I.C.E. awards, which is set to take place on February 7, 2013 in Las Vegas. Capps said that Gabe is a living legend and has made our whole industry a better place. I couldn't agree more. Game makers love him, but gamers love him equally. I'd list out his amazing accomplishments, but you all know them. Congrats, Gabe.
