An unfortunate customer who purchased Call of Duty: Black Ops on PC has been so incensed by his inability to play the game that he's taken over modernwarfare3.co.uk, putting up a page that criticizes last year's hit game and asks sympathetic gamers for money.
"I was unlucky enough to waste my money on Black Ops on the pc," he writes. "To this date it is still unplayable due to crap coding and design and a number of patchs (sic) which made things worse!!!. Please feel free to make a donation if you feel sorry for me lol."
Black Ops' performance on anything that isn't an Xbox 360 has become a notorious issue. We reviewed the PC game with stern critique, petitions have been formed by PS3 users, and complaints have flooded forums everywhere.
While I'm not going to give this guy any money, I certainly don't feel sorry for anybody involved with the porting of Black Ops to PS3 and PC.

MULTIPLAYER WAS TOTALLY PLAYABLE!
I have no clue what is wrong with the people whose game still doesn't work now. Of the past 9 days I have been playing black ops online EVERY NIGHT. Ranked matches lookups and manual server browser join ins, it all works!
The people who still have problems...have goddamn hardware issues and are probably trying to run it on goddamn crappy graphics card from 2005 and only 2gb of desktop ram or on a goddamn laptop. Seriously I getting tired of the goddamn black ops bashing.
The game works now people.
Get over it!
*BTW i'm no saying i'm ok with activion releasing a shoddy pc port. i'm getting tired of pc gamers getting shafted with half ass buggy as hell ports. But seriously folks the game works now. Lets move on !*
I waited till it was on sale and the problems completely ironed out. That is my way of telling them: "Look I want to play your game, but until you fix that shit up and it goes down in price, I won't pick it up"

What good is a receipt if they won't let you return a video game once the shrink wrap is off?
Also, I keep all of my receipts, in the form of emails since I don't go to brick and mortar stores.
There is no hack involved... He owns the domain, he's free to do wth he wants with it...
In Ireland, if a product is not of merchantable quality, you're entitled to a refund in cash or store credit.
Seriously though you would think a company as large as EA would at least be aware of issues when it comes to porting games across consoles. It would almost be like you know, smart business, to make sure the products you sell actually work too.
It's safe to say that is the last time anyone has ever talked me into buying a product again.

The only products I have bought 'cause my friends "recommended" them.
But at least I was able to sell my 360 and GH.
