I've been completely hooked watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood for the last few months now. A new episode is released every Thursday on Funimation's Web site (it's also on Hulu and YouTube, but a couple of episodes behind the ones on Funimation's site) and every single episode has been awesome.

With every popular anime seems to come a videogame of sorts and Brotherhood is no different. Fullmetal Alchemist: To the Promised Day is coming out on the PSP in Japan on May 20 and follows the events taking place in the series. The Namco Bandai published title is a role playing game and looks like it will be pretty true to the series.

A couple of Fullmetal Alchemist games were released on the PlayStation 2 a while back so I wouldn't be surprised to see the new PSP game hitting American shores down the line. So who else is digging Brotherhood?

I watched the show on adult swim last week. Pretty good. The only amine that kept me till the end with the original (death note was close). Is this one based on the manga or something? Why are they starting over? An alternate story?

Yeah, its based on the manga, totally different from the first series, but damn cool...

Why does Japan get all the cool PSP games? I wish I was older so I can import...

Definitely enjoying Brotherhood so far. FMA was one of my favorite anime series so I was happy that it got this second treatment (especially since I don't read the manga). Favorite episode thus far has to be the Dwarf in the Flask. It was cool to get that backstory and as a stand-alone story it was really well done. I'm still a little disappointed with the identity of Pride, just because I feel like that character could have operated in a much more interesting capacity, dramatically speaking, before we found out they were a Homunculus.

Unfortunately, as far as I've heard, all of the FMA games to date have been pretty shameless cash-ins with no real substance. Would be cool if it lived up to the quality of the show.

The show is awesome, both of them. I don't know anything about the PS2 games, but I imagine if they were awesome I would have.

Curious to see how this one will come out. Some of the running animations looked kind of stiff.

I've been watching but since I reading the Manga so I know everything that's about to happen but I still watch Brotherhood. The Manga is about 1 chapter a month though.

And I'd say it's starting to finally reach an end. Hopefully it reaches that point before Brotherhood has to start throwing in fillers.

About those FMA games on the PS2: there were three, and we only got the first two, so it's not entirely a guarantee we'll be getting this one. And yes, both games were pretty awesome, though they could have used a little polish.

Anyways, a game that follows the manga? KICK-ASS. I've been slacking on watching Brotherhood (only about 15 or 20 eps in), but I've been keeping up with the manga for a year or two. Tis greatsauce. I loved the first anime, and the manga was fifty thousand times better.

Hell yeah, Fullmetal Alchemist is my favorite Manga/Anime. I love Brohterhood, and might have to keep an eye on this. It looks like the manga is getting ready to wrap up as well. Can't wait for the ending.

Hagane no Renkinjutsushi Fullometa Alchemisto!

I've just been sticking to the sub, as the dub really hasn't been doing much for me this time around (that may change when the other manga characters debut)

I still enjoy the anime but I got impatient and read the manga up to current and now I see where they cut out a bunch of stuff, and they're usually my favorite scenes T_T

The manga is amazing, I can't wait till adult swim gets to where the original split from the manga.

I was hooked on the original 2003 anime as well. Then I got hooked to the manga....Now I'm hooked to FMA: Brotherhood. Especially the music. Delicious delicious music....

Clearly my FMA addiction will not end until the series completes itself. Much like my addiction to Kingdom Hearts.

Gah, FMA is one of my favorite anime series, but I keep completely forgetting to watch the new Brotherhood episodes!

As for the game, looks cool, the PS2 games were actually pretty fun. Too bad I don't have a PSP.

I've been following brotherhood since day one. Love fullmetal alchemist. It's to bad the original series went off the rails towards the end.
I've played the ps2 games and they were good action games(slightly mediocre though)I think the series lends itself more to an Rpg style then an adventure game. A fullmetal alchemist RPG would be amazing. just have it be a constant 2 charecter party with ed and al, then have frequent guest charecters like mustang or hawkeye. I just blew my own mind!

It said on Release BB.com that the FMA Brotherhood game is being released on October 6th,2010. So the U.S. release date could be closer or furthur away. Either that or they got their info from an unreliable resource.
