Full PlayStation Vita US launch details: 25 games listed photo

I'm prepared to spend the Christmas break with my Japanese PlayStation Vita, but that doesn't mean that I'm not looking forward to the US launch and finally getting my hands on all the English-language launch games. My Japanese is not great.

Sony has put together a list of all the launch titles for Vita's February 22 launch, and they say that this is the biggest and best lineup they've hever launched with across all PlayStation platforms. 25 games will be available on day 1, and more than 100 more are in development. You'll find the full list of launch games after the jump.

Sony says that every Vita will come with six AR Play Cards and a voucher for a bundle of AR games called AR Play.

Finally, all of the launch accessories have also been listed. There's a nifty Starter Kit for Vita. For $39.99 you get a 4GB memory card, a pocket pouch, protective screen film, a card case, headphones and a cleaning cloth. You'll also find the accessory list after the jump.

What will you be getting at launch. I busted my wallet open for Japanese launch games and accessories. I need to save up for February!

The starter kit actually sounds useful. I'm still using the pouch for my PSP that I got with my PSP 1001. Hopefully the pouch is of good quality again.

I am probably not getting the Vita day 1 since Gravity Daze is only a launch window title.

There are so many games at launch. It seems too overwhelming.

Also, that is not just me gushing, I have seen consoles with less games months after they launched. The PS Vita is totally packing heat in its launch line up.

They aren't counting psn titles are they? That's cheating.

Anyway, looks like a decent list even though there isn't much I'm personally interested in. Then there's the obligatory launch day sports/racing games that seem to be at every launch day ever.

Is it me or are the Memory Cards, like 20% cheaper than when they announced the US prices for them?

Still expensive, but at least not madly so.

Honestly I'm so sick of Uncharted after Uncharted 3, I just dont even wanna bother with that one.
But I will definitely get Little Deviants. Sadly to say that's all that's there for me on launch day. So I'll probably wait until the real system seller comes out: Gravity Rush

To me, the launch isn't much better overall than the 3ds launch.
Of course, personal opinion wil differ, but I mean to say in overall mass appeal the 2 are far closer than many seem to realise.

@Kyomagi - Given 32 GB is a pittance as far as storage for PSP and Vita games go and it costs twice what a comparable SD card does, I'm going to say its still a problem.

a 4GB card would barely contain FFVII and FFVIII.

That aside. 25 games and not one I find interesting.

Rayman Origins means I'm sold, that game was stupid fun when I played it round my friends house and it'll be a cracking launch title to dig into.

No, the memory cards never had a US price announced. It was terrible journalists like Jim on this very site that kept going on about how they are $130 going off of the conversion rates between the different territories.

Once again, show's how pathetic of a journalist he is. EVERYONE knows that prices are static between regions. Japanese videogames can be almost $100 yet we only pay $60 if not less. Its the same for movies and videogame accessories. So bias was shown and he was trying to make it seem worse than it is

holy fucking fuck, that makes like 8 launch games for me. and i thought ruin is a launch title as well? i dont know how people can defend the 3ds launch compared to the vitas and/or say that they are similar.
i hope sony and nintendo NEVER stop with the handhelds, you get some of the best experiences from them.

Hopefully by launch I will have enough save to get the vita, blazblue, and either katamari or escape plan. I also have those free psp titles that they were handing out for the psn outage a while back.

I think the last time Jim made a story about the Mem cards he was going off a gamestop listing. And these prices aren't that far off anyway, seeing as paying any amount after dropping $250 on a console on anything but Games for it would be painful regardless of cost.

And while nothing on this list interests me (okay, Army corp of hell maybe), I can still see why people would say they are excited.(Altough I think the reaction is a bit much sometimes)
But I'm generalizing the lineups, not based my own opinion of favorite games, but the appeal and type on display. In this, they are quite similar.

@El Conrado,
They never announced US pricing. Gamestop, the source of many a lazy journalists news, did the simple Yen to Dollar conversion, rounded, and called it a day. However, since we never paid $70 for Dragon Quest IX, we now know such foolish estimations are moronic to begin with.

In terms of quality, it's a great lineup. I wish there were more games that interested me (I wanted Gravity Rush day 1) but there's enough to keep me occupied for a bit.

Also its nice to see the memory cards don't cost as much as we thought. 8GB will be fine until something better comes along.

@qlum the portable charger is not a charging adapter

@Ronin4life
it's an external battery charger with 5000mAh capacity
Nice, since it will extend vita battery life with 6-10 hours more (which make it 9-15 hours in total) and probably you can still use it for any usb powered device.

Which means that with a simple cable you can also use it for the 3DS, giving it about 5 time the play time.

...which is like dividing by zero.

I'm buying it.

$20 for a 4 gig? Doesn't sound as bad as I thought it would be, I though it would be like $30+. Its new tech anyways so early adopters are almost always shafted i.e. 3DS early adopters. The starter kit sounds good and I might get that for the card and pouch.
