More than a month prior to its release, Activision has revealed the full setlist for its upcoming mult-instrument title, Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock.
The 90-plus song soundtrack falls squarely into the rock category, with an emphasis on various styles metal. Previous games attempted to be more well-rounded (Guitar Hero 5 featured a Stevie Wonder song, for instance), but developer Neversoft knows who's buttering its bread: folks you want to play DragonForce and Slipknot songs.
Really, it's an impressive collection they've dumped on the disc, ranging from Slayer to Soundgarden, The Dillinger Escape Plan to Fall Out Boy, Black Sabbath to Queen. Also, I hope you like Dave Mustaine; the game features not one or two Megadeth songs, but three. This included a track, "Sudden Death," written by Mustaine just for Warriors of Rock.
Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock is out September 28.

2112 counts as seven songs, this better mean that we can play each part separately.
Anyway, this is obviously the second-best song on the setlist. Modern Day Cowboy is still the best.
Even Nickelback can't ruin this setlist for me.
Well, not until I saw Occams post that is. Jesus Occams. I'm about to eat brunch.
Not going to get the game though because I'm burnt out on the music game genre...
There is a setlist with a batch of super sdifficult songs that you need to unlock. They're not just given to you. In order to do that you need to beat the tier before it which is also super difficult.
So yeah. There's a batch of unlockable songs if ultra mega difficulty is your thing.
it's like the trifecta of shit
oh almost forgot flyleaf
seriously there are some awful songs on here, and all of the song choices for the good bands are pretty awful
great.
and i thought i couldn't hate guitar hero any more.
Not really, but assuredly a rental to play the full 2112 suite at least.
I am liking that Anberlin has a spot on the retail track list.
too bad RB3 is gonna sweep this shit under the rug.
i'll pick it up used for $20 a few weeks after release.
Twisted Sister: We're Not Gonna Take It
that right there might push this into must-have territory for me. I don't know what it is about that song, some weird nostalgia I guess, but I've looked for it in setlists ever since I bought a PS2 so I could OWN Guitar Hero that my friend had shown me.
