But it's there. I'm just wondering when the balance patches will be out....seeing as Blanka is supposed to be worked on...
It's because of shit like this that I just can't stand Capcom fighting games anymore, as good as they may be sometimes.
I'm fairly confident I don't have to worry about a Mortal Kombat Komplete 2013 Edition, something I could never truly say about a Capcom game.
Except maybe Resident Evil 6.
Now talk about the rumor about the SFXTK engine being used to make Darkstalkers 4.
If not however, any of you folks out there with a shred of decency will avoid this game like the plague and prove to companies that we will not continue to bend over and take it. If this keeps up, I think I will be heavily restricting my future new game purchases...
So who knows if the others will be free or not down the line
PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY SURPRISED THAT CAPCOM PULLED THIS BULLSHIT AGAIN?!?!!?
Buying the game regardless on 360 this Tuesday, and buying the vita version later on with all the characters.
m done crying about DLC, yeah I miss the old days of cheats and unlocks but whatever.
... WHY?
What is "forcing" them to make that a separate budget? And, even if that was the case, what is "forcing" them from not re-integrating it back into the core game?
The fact is, they intentionally just cut huge chunks of the game out and allocated it to a "DLC budget" that only exists because they WANT it to exist separately. There's no reason any of this couldn't be in the game, the core game's budget, or even IF it was separate, to add it back in (as game developers USED to do).
I don't even believe it IS a separate budget. The on-disc "DLC" costumes for Street Fighter IV were in the Arcades over a year before the game came to consoles... so what's the excuse there?

Do they WANT people to hate them? p.s. Pac-Man still creeps me out, and this ending ain't helping.
Meanwhile a company like Bioware leaked "From Ashes" twice in nine months, lied about the content's existence after the leak and lied again about it being developed after production of the main game. It was planned, it was a planned part of the story shamelessly monetized just like Shadow Broker.
If these characters start showing up on PSN and XBLA at $5 a pop like Jill Valentine and Shuma-Gorath did, then we can certainly complain about that.
My assumption is these characters on the disc haven't been as extensively tested as the rest of the game's MASSIVE roster and are not ready to be implemented, but likely could be by the time the Vita version is out.
The mistake Capcom made was announcing the Vita varsion at all. Now people are allowed to question how "complete" SFXT is even though you know most people would never extensively play every character in the game, even for the endings.
Of course, I still plan on buying SFxT and the DLC. Why? Because I still really like their fighting games, and I still want complete rosters. And I don't feel bad about it since in the end, my purchase or lack of a purchase is but a fraction of a blip on Capcom's radar.
I will add this to my boycotted games list for absolute bullshit.
Boycotted Games: Tropico 4, Batman: Arkham City, Kingdoms of Amalur, Mass Effect 3, and now Street Fighter X Tekken.
Hey publishers, quit being assholes. Until you get your act together, you can go out to a farm and suck a constipated goats dick.
Doesn't help that the netcode isn't up to scratch from all reports. Not KOF XII bad, but laggy and the sound constantly dfrops out it seems.
Letīs see, the prologue and ending for megaman and pac-man are inside the 360 disc, as probably is both characters.
Capcom, or any company for that matter, prints the same data on both discs versions. But the 360 owners are complaining about been screwed because they lack 2 characters that are exclusive to PS3 ? I agree that, they could launch on 360, but maybe later. 360 is a plataform that strives on DLC exclusivity, temporary or not. This case is the same, but with PS3 getting the better deal.
The DLCs characters haven't showed nothing yet, just prologue and ending arts without text or voice acting whatsoever. The Vita version will launch in 6 months, they are probably developing and balancing the DLC characters. Nothing was shown yet about any DLC characters in the disc. Those DLC characters will be launched on both consoles sans Megaman and Pac-man, maybe) especially because of the tournement scene (exclusive characters = banned).
They wouldn't lock 10 characters in development for just one console. The PS3 exclusives are Cole, the cats, Megaman and Pac-man, that's it.
About chothing that is only cosmetical so I counldn't care less.
I guess they will still leech from disc-based buyers as much as possible for 7th and 8th generation since physical medias for video game software might be pretty much nonexistence in 9th generation.
