Every good racer based in an “alternate present” where the Earth has been ravaged by global warming needs solid multiplayer. And FUEL justmight deliver the goods. Unfortunately, Codemasters isn’t ready to blow the lid off their post-apocalyptic racer FUEL, but we were dropped a nice little trailer this afternoon that sums up one of the game’s multiplayer modes, Free Ride.
In Free Ride, you’ll team up with up to 16 other players and travel around Al Gore’s nightmare-Earth doing whatever you desire. This includes impromptu races, track editing, and collecting collectibles. From what we understand, FUEL’s world is persistent, but we believe the footage after the break speaks for itself.
I keep hearing the genre is dying, which means that you guys don’t want a part of it. Is that true? Or is FUEL the change of pace you need? (Pretend that you didn't hear the wretched music in the trailer before you answer.)

Nice to see that after the world ends all the survivors will still wear name brand moto-cross outfits and not that bramin skin shit.
