Today Ubisoft says that the Xbox 360 title From Dust has broken digital sales records after launching worldwide on July 7. The game had the highest first day sales of any Xbox LIVE Arcade game that Ubisoft has ever released! Ubi says that sales were about 45 percent higher than Ubisoft’s previous best-selling XBLA release.
And that's just the Xbox 360 version. The pre-orders for From Dust on PC, slated to release on August 17, are also looking good, says Ubisoft. The game will also soon come to the PlayStation Network. All this buzz even after Jim's review.
Even if everyone didn't love the game, I hope it gets back to Ubisoft that we like these art-y, short-format, original games.
