Arcade classics Frogger and Pac-Man have been thoroughly run into the ground. Both are available on every single platform conceivable in some form or other and odds are, you're sick of them. The difference between the two is that Namco managed to deliver a wonderful modern version of Pac-Man in the form of Championship Edition DX while Konami vomited out Frogger 3D and crossed their fingers.
In what can only be described as a stroke of genius, Konami has announced Frogger: Hyper Arcade Edition with its neon styling that screams "look how up-to-date we are!" If the bright lights don't float your boat, you'll have a slew of skins to swap between including Contra and Castlevania-themed options. If you're still carrying a torch for Frogger, this one will be available on PSN, XBLA, and WiiWare later this Spring.
