I don't think it's so simple to say Tony Hawks HD is rubbish just because Dtoid panned it. A lot of critics liked it and it's got a 67 on Metacritic right now. 67 may not sound amazing but it's not terrible either, and 7 of the reviews on there put it at 80 or higher. It's split opinion it seems. Not so clear cut.
It's because of TDKR, Andy. ;D Also, I lol'd at BF3 xbox because it's true, that is indeed the best game out now. =D

I'd try to come out of my shell (even host, despite my horror of the thought) if I had anything I thought anyone would play right now. Not having a mic atm also puts a hamper on that.

I tried the demo the other night while I was sick (Night after I 100%ed Borderlands. Guess it made me sick, Andy) and I have to say its pretty much how Andy described it: Mediocre.
Granted, the only level they give you in the demo is the Hanger (which, frankly, we've probably all played to death and know the ins and out of in order to make a snap judgement), a few songs, and they didn't even let you play till the timer is out (seriously, fucking demo ends when you hit 30secs left on the clock..)
The hanger itself is fine, but the controls aren't nearly as good as I hoped at all; They felt odd and unresponsive. The if the 2 songs they give you in the demo are indicative of the rest of the playlist, then I'm happy you can make a custom list, because the songs aren't very good. And the whole "you can't finish this level in the demo" thing was just a pisser. I mean seriously, levels are short any way, it wouldn't have killed them to let us do a few more tricks and end it correctly.

In honor of Andy's plight with a broke down PS3, you now need to start every comment with " I would if my PS3 didn't break.." or "If my PS3 weren't broken.." :D

As the top expert in the Tony Hawk field, I can say, with authority, that THPSHD is not worth the asking price. There you have it.
Also, I will probably be doing Mariokart 7 and maybe Kid Icarus Uprising if people want to. I literally forgot it was Friday, which is why there's no blog.
