With all the great SoulCalibur IV custom characters that have been popping up on the Internet (like michiyoyoshiku's above), I'm really tempted to go out and buy the game now, rather than wait for a price drop. Should I?
For those of you who do have the game though, tonight is your golden opportunity to venture into SoulCalibur IV's online multiplayer. Beware of the button mashers!
As for everyone else, there will be plenty of Gears of War, Call of Duty 4, Rock Band, Warhawk, and AM:MO to go around.

Mini-guide for meeting up with Dtoiders for Super Smash Bros. Brawl or Mario Kart:
The IRC way: head on over to this Web site (or start up your own IRC client) and type "/join #destructoid" without the quotation marks.
The Ventrilo way: download and install Vent, then use the following info to log onto Dtoid's server:
• IP/Hostname: VOICE-VA2.BRANZONE.COM
• Port: 3790
• Password: None
Once you're in, you'll need to use the password "ftw" to access the Social Lounge.
The Xbox 360 way: use Xbox LIVE to chat with people on your friends list. Steam or an IM client will work fine too.

I'll be playing SCIV pretty much all night on 360, does anyone want to get a quarters match going? My GT is ShinigamiBV.
The single player modes are not quite as robust, but the character creation is a hell of a lot of fun (and somewhat strategic, with equipping skills and attribute points). Plus the online play has been excellent for me so far, with only one or two laggy experiences.
I'm up for some GTA 4 or COD4 360
