Decap Attack had its own comic? Huh. I guess you're bound to learn something new every day if roughly eighty percent of your typical day entails constant Internet surfing.
Anyway, last week -- as many of you know -- was Destructoid's Gears of War 2 community night. I'm not sure how experienced some of you are in the ways of hosting online events, but the second the word "prizes" is uttered, things get beyond hectic.
But when I say "hectic," I don't mean "bad"; far from it, actually. Besides the fact that I'm still getting friend requests from people who don't realize the community event took place last week and has been over since then, getting to play with a bunch of Dtoiders and Gears 2 fans alike was entirely more epic than I ever thought possible.
Also, some guy who had to attend a baseball game and couldn't make it sent us a voice message telling us how we were going to give his friend a prize. Note: he didn't ask, or even demand, for that matter -- he flat out told us that's how it was going to go down. You've got some serious balls, kid.
