The general consensus seems to be that Grand Theft Auto IV won't stop being fun or grow old anytime soon. There's a seemingly endless amount of things you can do in not only the single-player portion of the game, but in the multiplayer modes too, which is why we'll be playing it tonight for hours on end. Whether you're trying to beat a co-op mission or getting a group of people together in free mode to fly helicopters high above Liberty City's tallest skyscrapers, only to jump out and attempt to land on civilians, there's a tremendous amount of fun to be had. The IRC way: head on over to this Web site (or start up your own IRC client) and type "/join #dtoid-brawl" without the quotation marks. The Ventrilo way: download and install Vent. Then use the following info to log onto Dtoid's server: • IP/Hostname: VOICE-VA2.BRANZONE.COM

• Password: None Once you're in, you'll need to use the password "ftw" to access the Social Lounge. The 360 way: use your Xbox 360 to chat with people on your friends list. Steam or IM are good alternatives too.

For some reason, I always have problems connecting to GTA games.

Hardcore fail. The only way it works is if I host.
It's being gay, I dunno how to fix it because it works for most ppl but not for some. We had it during EUFNF too and when we switched hosts, other ppl couldn't join again...
Hopefully P0WER GL0VE can host too and solve it that way :/

I'm thinking about trying to host some Dino-Run, probably next week. Would anyone be interested? Probably around 10 or 10:30 (EST), before AMMO. I realize it isn't perfect for FNF, but it does allow for private games and I think it might work, albeit in small groups.
I realize I'm probably not going to get much of a response right now, but I figured I'd throw that out there.

they're just about to start a 3 hour test of the firealarm... and I have to stay at my seat to monitor the systems but there's a siren at like 4 meters from my head :-( I'll be suffering through loads of PAIN :-(

Lol that was so much fun, between that and the Ice Cream truck race, I don't think I've ever had as much fun with GTA as I did last night. But then again I haven't had GTA that long. Thanks for the great night.
After tons of failed attempts at joining, finally figuring out that my xbox was listed in my router as some stupid symbol after disconnecting everyone else from my network and putting it in the DMZ with no success, direct connecting my 360 to my modem finally worked.
Shouldn't have to do that shit when every other game works fine through my router.
Still was fun though... yay helicopter fights!
That "press Y!" joke never got old :)
