What a week this has been. PAX and Castle Crashers coming at us back to back? Talk about a win-win situation -- unless, of course, the former prevented you from becoming intimate with the latter.
While Castle Crasher's netcode remains bothersome, that's not to say it'll be impossible to get a few Destructoid groups going. The key word here is persistence.
If you're eager to tackle the entire campaign from start to finish with a level one character, you've come to the right place. I'm not sure about the rest of you, but I have already invested 20+ hours in CC and I am still antsy just thinking about it.

Mini-guide for meeting up with Dtoiders for Super Smash Bros. Brawl or Mario Kart:
The IRC way: head on over to this Web site (or start up your own IRC client) and type "/join #destructoid" without the quotation marks.
The Ventrilo way: download and install Vent, then use the following info to log onto Dtoid's server:
• IP/Hostname: VOICE-VA2.BRANZONE.COM
• Port: 3790
• Password: None
Once you're in, you'll need to use the password "ftw" to access the Social Lounge.
The Xbox 360 way: use Xbox LIVE to chat with people on your friends list. Steam or an IM client will work fine too.

If you want to share weapons in Castle Crashers:
1) Drop your weapon buy picking up a new one from a treasure chest or loot drop
2) Have someone else pick up the new weapon and once they touch it, they can access it at the frog.
3) Repeat step one if someone else wants it, or if you want to give it back to the person who dropped it for you.
But be careful though if you aren't a high enough level the weapon will just disappear and go back to the frog.

it just depends on ur luck i guess. i couldnt get any games to work on launch day but i havent been kicked out of a game all day,just got finished playing 3hrs straight. so it is possible just not very common it seems. :/

How does Team Fortress 2 work around here?
Once these server issues are resolved Castle Crasher's is going to be even more amazing.
Might even be good to go back to the map between level, to make sure things get saved.
