Happy Friday everyone!

Welcome to another edition of Destructoid's Friday Night Fights!

We finally made it, we are now fully into the next gen of gaming! Can you feel the excitement? I know I sure can!

Last night, Microsoft launched the Xbox One, ushering in a new era of ad filled dashboards everywhere!

Amazing.

Now that the big three have fully entered the new generation of gaming, what are you most excited for? Is it the prospect of new and exciting franchises? Is it the social aspect that this new generation is bringing with it? Is it the sheer, raw horsepower that these machines have under their hoods? (In before "LOL not WiiU though LOL").

We're in for a long road ahead of us, whether we like it or not, and I for one am pretty excited to see what's to come. I have a feeling a lot of us will be blown away at E3 this year when we start seeing just what Sony and Microsoft's machines are really capable of doing.

But I digress, we have games to play with each other, so let's get down to it and play some games!

Let's get to the games!

Friday Night Fights

New to FNF? Read this! Each week, a bunch of us Dtoiders get together to play videogames online! It's a 100% community-run event, so feel free to join in or even host something yourself!

The planning for FNF starts in the forums, where community members sign up to host matches and post their pertinent details (game, time, Gamertag, etc.). Then, every Friday, reminder posts go up in the community blogs thanks to a dedicated group of volunteers, and I recap it all here on the front page to give it a bit more exposure.

To join in, simply send a friend request to the match host! If you'd rather host something yourself, sound off in the comments section below!
