Originally, shooter Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 was supposed to feature the dismemberment of limbs in the core game, but to avoid a German ban, it was taken out in favor of offering it as free DLC at a later date.

Apparently though, this free update is no longer a thing. Speaking to Videogamer.comCity Interactive stated that the DLC was now cancelled. "I can confirm that CI Games are no longer going to be releasing the dismemberment DLC," stated the representative, without a clear reason given as to why it was exactly cancelled.

It's possible though, that given the negative initial critical response, it simply isn't worth paying to certify free content.

Back with more impressions from playing Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, I had some first-hand playtime with the cybernetic tough guy, Wilhelm the Enforcer, which I would like to relate to you with my mouth.
