Free Radical wants to know your platform of choice for TimeSplitters 4

Free Radical wants to know your platform of choice for TimeSplitters 4 photo
     Shooters

With so little information about TimeSplitters 4 circulating around the Internet and Haze not going over well with a considerable number of people, it's hard to know what to expect from Free Radical.

Will TimeSplitters 4 be on par with TS2's level of excellence, or will it turn out more like TS3? There's really no telling at this point, but we do know that it may or may not contain nuns with chainsaws, which means the humor we've come to expect from the series will probably be present here.

In any case, Free Radical is currently running a poll asking which platform you want to play TimeSplitters 4 on. The PlayStation 3 is currently beating the Wii by a small amount, with the Xbox 360 and PC quite a ways behind.

I think it's safe to assume that TS4 appearing on PS3 is a given, considering Free Radical's experience gained from Haze. The real question here is whether or not it's worth porting to Wii, since the system is so unlike the other candidates.

I'd like it on my Xbox 360 too... So I voted such.

God damn I don't even like these games but if it is a FPS it has to be the PC or the wii so you don't have to play with those crapy analog stick controlers that are totaly useless, and require auto aim ai to even come close to hitting any damn thing in the games.

360 hands down though I could live with PS3

just don't make it a Wii exclusive for the love of God

also I liked the third

I would also like to see it multiplatform.360 and PC are my first choices though,as these are the only systems out of the 4 that it isnt a COMPLETE pain in the ass to play fps's on.Also, online play begs for 360 and/or pc

They can't make it for PS3 and 360? Why?

Whatever.

Cube is angry because he sucks on consoles.

Cube: Have you ever played the other TS games? They're amazing, one of the few FPS's that I'd rather play on a console over a PC. Time Splitters is about fun, not UBAR1337HEADSHOTZLULZ.

I'm biased, because I only have a wii/pc right now, but I'd like to play it no matter what console it's on, because I love timesplitters :D

Cube is also angry because he's a cunt.

Also, the makers of Haze? Fail? Maybe?

Whoa, a few days ago the Wii was in the lead. At least now the game has a chance on an actual game console.

The PS3 fanboys must have been upset and they stuffed the ballot box after the Wii fanboys did.

I doubt this is going to be exclusive. It'll likely be a PS3 and Wii release.

They should do a Second Sight 2 for the Wii. Haze has put me off FR next-gen FPSs for the moment.

Are you joking? Is anyone not gonna say to put this on the Shooter Box?

If they can get the controls down on the Wii, I say go for it. Other than that, I say put it on the PS3, because the PS3 is much better with user content, i.e. map making.

I never understood why people didn't like TS3. But more is always appreciated. Everything Free Radical made last console gen was good, so I still have hope for this.

How is the 360 losing this poll so bad?

I sure hope for a 360 port, i've loved all the Timesplitter games (even part 3, reluctantly)

I'd say PS3 and 360 but have lead platform being PS3. Also a separate Wii version would be nice. Might as well put it on DS while they're at it too. PC version can come out 3 months after the PS3 and 360 game. And while we're at it, a 3rd person shooter for the PSP. :D

Being Timesplitters 2 was a fun FPS game, moving to the Wii would make sense with the free pointing ability it has.
FPS games feel premitive when playing them on the PC after a bit of Wii shooting.
Though I love my rail shooters and I love the fact I can shoot anything on screen without having to move it first and look.
It makes natural sense too.
When you shoot down a corner, do you stick your head there too?
Answer is an obvoius no.

Still, I agree with all the others, it would make a smash hit multi platform game.
Plus a Wii specific version would be just as great. (Cept how the Conduit will make it look like a poor attempt, but I'd still probably buy it)

With the polls as they are, I'd think it would be wise to release it on the Wii. There's obviously some cash waiting for them there.

Though you know, I'd really love to see a Time Splitters complitation to recap on all three of the titles that some of us may have missed.

I myself only played the second one. It was annoyingly difficult at some times but it was good.
Plus those mini games and chiptunes were a great extra.
A fourth on anything would be awesome really.

Being an Achievement whore, I'd prefer it on 360, but I'm getting it regardless if it comes out on PS3 or 360.

And fuck the Wii.
