Free PSP Media Manager 3.0 now available for PC photo

Sony has announced that a new Media Manager (version 3.0) for the PlayStation Portable has launched today.

Available as a free download, Media Manager 3.0 for Windows PCs now includes an interface for the PlayStation Store, as well as the ability to transfer music and photos to the PSP via drag-and-drop. Also included in the software is the ability to rip audio CDs directly to the PSP, making it easier to steal music from your friend who still insists on buying CDs back-up your music.

I must repeat that Media Manager 3.0 is free, so PSP users running Windows have no reason not to pick it up. Sorry Mac users, there's no version available for you folks right now. But hey, the iPhone is poised to kill off all other handhelds in the market anyhow ... right? (And it makes phone calls, too!)

What the--I can already drag-and-drop things onto my PSP! If the program's store interface streamlines or altogether eliminates the HAY GUYS FLASH FOR EVERYTHIIIINNNG experience of the store's own website, though, I'm all for it.

I just use my PS3 to download games for the PSP, and just just use plain old windows explorer to transfer music/pron.
