Free Blu-ray remote and movie with PS3 at Amazon

Were you finally thinking of getting a PS3 for yourself? I know you aren't really thinking of getting one for the Blu-ray functionality, but you might as well use it since you'll have it, right?

If you buy your PS3 at Amazon.com and you also purchase a game, you'll get both the Sony PS3 Blu-ray remote control and a free Blu-ray movie with purchase. At checkout, enter SONYGAME to recieve the free stuff. The offer is only good until November 20th, so check your checkbook to see if you're good.

Amazon has the 160GB PS3 bundle ready, if you're down for that. It comes with Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, a PAIN downloadable game voucher, and a Dualshock 3 controller, all for $499.

If you ask me, I like Walmart's $100 gift card with PS3 offer better. With this deal, you can use that to stock up on ramen noodles to get you through the holiday.

In a less than half as good offer, Target is giving $40 gift cards with PS3s.

Similar deal went on at GAME. Problem is that head-office sent in the remotes - which scanned through as 1p - so they were all bought up by staff before we even knew about the deal. Thus ruining the bundle.

To boot the remotes traded in for £4, not that I let any of my staff abuse that.

Woo-fricken-hoo, 2nd PS3 here I come!

Seriously, this is the worst fee deal I have seen. I think they are trying to clean out space as they are also giving these away if you purchase a Wii.... lol

*joking, don't go check it out and feel like a dumbass then come back here to complain*

Yeah, Dale I just researched. The $100 gift card with a PS3 was for November 8th only. You may want to edit that part out.

You might want to email Dale. He never seems to read the comments on his posts.

Actually that remote is pretty amazing and useful if you watch a lot of movies.

Yeah, the remote is very useful if you don't want to deal with the controller. The movie I can't speak for, but I'll go with DVD's assessment.

The $100 gift card is better, but the BT remote is pretty damn nice for movies and quick trips to the PS Store.

Get a PS3 and Resistance 2 and you get a free remote and Casino Royale. Not as good as a $100 gift card, but that's not a bad deal.

Oh, or you could get SOCOM Confrontation, get a sweet headset and join us at Saturday Night SOCOM.

Thankfully Meet the Spartans isn't one of the options available.
