Remember that free Batman: Arkham Asylum downloadable content we've been hearing about for quite a while now? We finally know what the content actually is! 'Bout time, right?
Coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on September 17 are two new maps. There's the "Totally Insane" FreeFlow Combat map and, what else, an Invisible Predator map called "Nocturnal Hunter."
The press release wasn't super clear on what the maps will look like location-wise, but instead described in great detail what the Combat and Invisible Predator maps are like in general. Helpful, I know.
Arkham Asylum has got me hooked, and with this DLC weighing in at the price of free, it's hard not to be excited for more.
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied:
"bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

Free DLC for 360?

This is free because they're already getting hurt on the ps3-exclusive joker, I'd imagine.

Exactly. So people who have a 360 should be happy that they have the game, and if they don't like the DLC just don't buy it and STFU.

Left 4 Dead already received free DLC. Hell, even Halo 3 has received free DLC at one point. My point is, if it happens once, don't count on it happening again. I'm sure there will be paid DLC for Arkham in the future.
Something free for XBL? And it's more than just one map? Woah.
L4D and Halo 3 got free content, sure, but that content was really only limited to one new map each (Survival Mode, too).

I don't pay for DLC maps on principle (except all fronts GoW2), so this is great news.
