@XV1 The survival add-on was technically DLC from Microsoft's standpoint. It wasn't an "update". So MS gave Valve one free DLC and I imagine weren't een on doing to multiple times.

Left 4 Dead already received free DLC. Hell, even Halo 3 has received free DLC at one point. My point is, if it happens once, don't count on it happening again. I'm sure there will be paid DLC for Arkham in the future.
