I loved the photography aspect of the original Dead Rising, even if it was a bit janky at times. So, I'm thrilled to learn that the mechanic will be returning in Dead Rising 2: Case West. In an interview with Eurogamer, co-producer Shinsaku Ohara confirmed as such by saying, "It's back. It's part of Frank. So when Frank comes back, so does the photography."

Awesome news, and would tie in perfectly with the downloadable epilogue's focus on clearing the name of Dead Rising 2 hero Chuck Greene. I'll still miss it in the full game, I'm sure, but knowing that the mechanic will return eventually fills me with joy.
