Im glad they are tying up on what happened to Frank, was getting a bit peeved at the fact that they werent mentioning him at all. Great news.

It was heavily implied that he would be a zombie after the events of DR1. The serum was only temporary after all.

See your point, but once I realised what Zombrex is and where it originated I knew Frank would be ok. Im intrigued to find out how they retrieved the antidote from his system. I hope hes done a Spider Jeruselem and become an outlaw journalist :-)

Having finished Case Zero less than 30 minutes ago, this news is relevant to my interests. I'll be downloading it the moment I beat DR2 :P
Oh...so we'll be playing AS Frank West then will we? I wonder if this'll have co-op similar to the main game but with one player controlling West, the other Greene.
@Maurice: C'mon, it's not like the camera was an essential bit of equipment. One (optional) mission and a couple of achievements were about the extent of it.
Ok, thats cool. I LOVED case zero-i really loved it because it was 5 bucks. And to think there was a bunch of people crying that your buying a 'demo of the game'. Which is complete hokum. There probably the same people that pay 15 dollars on Call of Duty maps. I think zero and this are genius in which you can have a seperate story that connects to the main game and sell it for cheap as an arcade download-I for one hope companies continue this business model-5 bucks or less/maybe free- for extra
Is there anyway to just biy Case West, like they did with Case Zero?
I really like DR2, but I'm tight on money and money right now. I'd love to just plunk down $5 on Case West and be done with it.

This is great news. I haven't bought DR2 yet and probably won't until it lowers in price, but if we can play Case West without having DR2 it'll be a day one buy for me.
I don't miss it in Dead Rising 2, but this would be cool to keep with Frank. Even if it was pointless, his camera is the entire reason for his existence in that mall.
And I'm sure the return of Frank also gives them an excuse to keep Zombrex in the mix, what with him being infected and all.
It would be great if they tweaked and re-released the original Dead Rising on PS3 at some point. Maybe when the exclusivity expires they could use Case: West to promote it. Capcom is notorious for doing that so I'm actually shocked it hasn't happened yet already. I'm sick of this 'the game's cross-platform, but you didn't buy the right system so you don't get to play this portion of it' nonsense. What I love most about Frank is that he's got to be one of the ugliest leading men in a game ever. I loved watching his perverted picture taking, hobbling fat ass try to look like an action hero.
WHAT?! It doesn't have it?! OMG!! I've just bought the frigging game and got my first disappointment without even playing it!!!
