Keep in mind it does say "Strider Hiryu" for both Marvel 1 and 2 - not just "Strider".
I think this is a Photoshop (because of the Namco x Capcom reasons stated above) , but if there was an old character that was destined for DLC, it would be Strider.

I guess I am one of those suckers who will pay for a character over and over again just to see his/her likeness in a game...and be able to use them too. It's like they took a shower and got a fresh look going on!

The person who did the photoshop just took Strider's right knee and made it look like his left to try to make it look real.
Then he did some shading magic, and wa-la, and image that fooled a lot of people.
Second, while I admit Frank West is a possibility for DLC, the fact is Capcom is only making DLC in pairs of Marvel/Capcom.
So if Frank West was being made, there would be a new Marvel character to accompany him.
Lastly, Strider will never be in MvC3 as Capcom cannot get the rights back to include him in the game. Ever.

@RussianSambo Thats very doubtful, if Capcom wanted Megaman in the game they would have put him in the game. I also kinda find it funny that you call Trish a bullshit character when shes a pretty popular choice among tournament fighters.
@ dantemustdie- Yeah, the rumor going around is that Frank will be paired with Doc Ock. As for Strider... nothing yet.

I saw some pretty convincing fake screens of Ms. Marvel and Phoenix Wright one time. No reason to believe this is legit. I believe that Frank is coming, but this isn't him.

Capcom needs to pay and credit a manga studio named Motomiya Kikaku every time they use Strider Hiryu. Thats why he isn't in MvC3.i
Hated MVC2 for having to grind to get to fifty characters, thank god for new technology which cut the crap and I an enjoy new experiences with my credit card.

though he's currently working on Moon Diver(formerly known as Necromachina) at least it can quench our thirst before a new Strider(if) comes out. speaking of Strider i kinda want more 2D revival games(kinda like Bionic Commando Rearmed) games like Metal Slug, Contra(although Hard Corps looks promising still i want a Contra game),Castlevania(HOD is good but i want a DOS or SOTN game like) a new Megaman(in the same vien as X and Zero Series), and so on.
looks like iv'e been off topic now. would love to see Strider and Frank personally but i kinda wanted them to be save on another Versus game. maybe Tatsunoko vs Capcom 2? the Marvel series weren't really that good to be honest(except for MVC1 now that's how you make a corssover game)

I'm in agreement with the sentiment. I want frank in the game much like most here. Couldn't give a shit about strider. I'm a fan but I want new or newish characters. I won't spend money on MvC2 characters when I have MvC2. But I no longer own a wii and thus no TvC anymore, so Frank skirts that rule I arbitrarily placed on myself.
It's funny how people here are saying it looks fake after bigsharkz posted his comment yet nobody gives him credit for saying it, c'mon everybody was tricked until they read his comment

Just a note about your argument regarding having character's entire names under the life bars. In TVC, Frank's entire name is under the lifebar, same with Strider in MvC2. So you argument is completely unfounded.

even if this is a fake (which it most likely is) the odds are capcom will see how much interest this generates, with comments such as "I'm buying this if strider is in this" etc. Strider probably wasn't going to be included but I'm pretty sure that after this capcom will reconsider.

Have you not played Tatsunoko vs Capcom? Everyone was listed by thier first name with the exception of Frank West. MvC3 can just follow the same scheme.

Doc Ock in MVC3 hell nah I'll rather have Rhino or Shocker over the Doc. Yet fans still rather have Venom and Carnage over all of them. Strider and Shuma are fan favs. Strider is in MVC3 is gonna be godly if they keep combos roughly the same he'll be high tier for a while. Shuma might be much better in MVC3 then any other game. Frank West would be cool because he'll play basically like the old Jill.
I'm calling bullshit... two Capcom characters in one leak, nah. But a Strider and Psylocke character Pack would be nice. (also a Captin Commando and Gambit pack)
The image is a fake. I took this image and matched it up with Strider's artwork from Namco X Capcom and they matched. Someone photoshopped Strider to make him look different as well as making his pose to look different from the original. Frank might actually be in it, but Strider's a fake.
