Fake. I myself even made a fake picture of Frank West and Doctor Octopus, and 95% of the people who saw it thought it was real.
Two reasons why this is fake.
First of all, it should not say their full names. It should simply be Frank and Strider. You don't see Albert Wesker, Chris Redfield, Nathan Spencer and Mike Haggar when you play as them.
Other reason is obvious. This is Strider's Namco X Capcom artwork. To fool us, he simply swapped the position of the legs, and added some basic shading so it looks (kind of) Marvel vs. Capcom 3's art style.

I don't give 2 fucks they better add a spectator mode seriously that should have been a priority through development not this we tried and gave up
I actually believe this is real. Remember when those Hsien-Ko and Sentinel pictures came out? "Fake, FAKE FAKE". I think there were a couple of others too.

There is a difference between Strider and Strider Hiryu. Strider Hiryu is owned by Capcom, whereas Strider is owned by Moto Kikaku.

There was no real Hsien-Ko pic. There WAS a Sentinel pic, but THAT was an ACTUAL full picture of Sentinel.

This looks like it could be real. There is an announcement on March 8 about the game....so watch out.
That's cool if legit... Would like to see Frank. They best keep dlc characters on the cheap though. I don't play fighters enough to justify a bunch of scrilla
To those who still don't believe me, I roughly reproduced what the person made just to show you how it was done. Of course I could have darkened and blurred the picture, then added some shadow on the leg like he did, but you get my point.

Amen, Johnathan. I don't want MvC3 to become MvC2, because I already have MvC2. I like that they made Jill a completely different character.
Well Holmes, you'll be sad to find the characters aren't cheap. $5 a pop is some bullshit. They are individual, though.
@ BigSharkZ I agree that Strider is in an identical pose as in the Namco X Capcom artwork, but the little details, like the proportions, the distance from the elbow to the chest, the size of the leg, the width of the scarf, etc, are all pretty different.
I'm definitely more inclined to think this is fake because of that artwork, but I'm still not 100% sure.
@ chefkilledmeat - I would definitely want Shuma and Strider in MvC3... for now additional cost. It just isn't worth it to me to pay extra for characters I technically already have in a fighting game, or in this case, fighting games.
I may actually hold off on Frank as well, as I have him in TvC. I'm waiting to see how differently he plays.

No matter how many times I look at those two pics of Strider, they just don't match up to me. Also, as far as I know, Shuma Gorath and Viewtiful Joe's full names are represented on their life bars.

I'm 50/50 on this. Either way I'd like to have Frank in the game. Frank is one of my favorite Capcom characters. And if for whatever reason this is fake, I wouldn't mind me some Chuck Greene action up in my MvC3.
Well, Frank was in the game at one point, so it could just be leftover from when he was cut. Not sure about Strider though...

I think this is fake for one reason. He would not be called Franik West, just Frank. He would not be called Strider Hiryu, just Strider...
Dunno if the pics real or not but I'd be surprised if Frank West wasn't dlc.
The game is awesome, and I'll buy pretty much any dlc characters that come along, just hope that Gambit is one of them...

This is straight out fake because anyone who plays MvC3 knows that in ur character's health bars the one thats on top should be the one fighting if franks is on top then why isnt he fighting why is strider out when he shouldnt be
Fake. I don't know how anyone can really take this serious. All the other image leaks have had video or full screen shots not a quarter of a screen showing some blurry names and a knee. I am also wondering where is this image even from? I haven't even seen any chatter about it on any of the major fighting sites.
