This one though has a nicer look to it but I guess it will suffer from the same problem as Chronos Twin with the use of both screens.
In defense of this game it is a plus that from what I can tell you can only be damaged in one of the screens at a time unlike CT.
Eh, video games are just disappointing now. No real creativity, just regurgitating whatever sells, and pandering the popular audiences.
People seem to believe that to be creative, you either have to create a new franchise, or you need to change an existing franchise into something entirely different. But that is never what they are really doing.
When they make a "new" IP, they are just replicating an existing genre, with little to no changes, and varying levels of quality depending on the size of the developer. And when they change an existing IP, they never do anything new with it, they merely create a replica of a popular genre and slap the brand name over it.
People want Metroid to be Ninja Gaiden, they want Zelda to be Skyrim or Dark Souls, they want Castlevania to be God of War, they want Silent Hill to be every lame-ass psychological-thriller movie to come out of the last five years.
There's plenty of potential for those games to be developed further based on their own merits, but that's not what sells, so that's not what they do.
Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Soul Sacrifice looks great, this looks great...
@PhilK3n it's an oldy but Magician Lord still holds up in my opinion.
